SOLD - WHITE CRYSTAL LIGHT-FIXTURE 1950S

Professional seller: Danish Vintage Design

311 EUR / 380 USD

Description

WHITE CRYSTAL light fixture from the 1950s by unknown Scandinavian producer - gorgeous vintage white crystal, brass and rosewood lighting fixture in excellent vintage condition.

Two individual white crystal glass lights with brass tops, and stabilized by two rosewood cross bars, which are separated by an aluminum spacer in each end. The white crystal is matte except a glossy white pattern on the lower half of each glass shade. The delicate white and dark rosewood complement each other, and the brass add a stylish touch.
When lit, the white crystal softens the ambiance, and the open bottom provides a direct flow of the light downwards. Although I myself would keep the rosewood cross bars, you might use the two lights without it - as two single lights hung farther apart then the cross bars allow or off set to each other. Either way, this piece would look amazing over a dining table or a sitting area or kitchen setting, adding an elegant Art Deco touch.

If hung off set each other (and without the cross bars), they could accent a corner in a sitting area or maybe light up a hall way.
A gorgeous hanging lighting fixture from the 1950s, and in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of usage and age - no chips, cracks - all glass parts fully intact. Please see the photos!
