Mogens Lassen + Flemming Lassen

Mogens Lassen + Flemming Lassen

Mogens Lassen (1901-1987) and Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) were both architects and part of the movement that brought functionalism to Denmark. Mogens Lassen was inspired by the design philosophy of Bauhaus. Therefore geometric figures are often the focal point of his designs, as in the Cube Stage. Flemming Lassen is known for his work with Arne Jacobsen, which Rudersdal Town Hall and House of Future are recognized examples of. Flemming Lassen is also known for his furniture designs, such as the armchair The Tired Mand and the Mingle Sofa.
