Nanna Ditzel

Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005) was one of Denmark's most visionary female designers. Nanna Ditzel graduated as a carpenter in 1943 and continued studying at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Academy of Fine Arts, where she was taught by Kaare Klint. Nanna Ditzel is considered to be one of the most innovative and significant designers in the history of Danish design. She has received several international design prices. Nanna Ditzel has designed a wide range of products such as jewelry for Georg Jensen and Hallingdal textile for Kvadrat. She is especially known for the Trinidad series, Bench for Two, the Trisse tables and her wicker furniture.
