The iconic Erik Buch stool designed in 1961 in solid teak w/ foot rest in solid rosewood.
These two are the old versions made by Oddense.
Model 61 bar stool has a slanted base w/organically sculpted lines & seat.
Frames are fully re-finished (cleaned, sanded / sanded by hand & oiled) Seats have original patinated black leather upholstery.
Both labeled by maker: Oddense Maskinsnedkeri A/s 1960érne and have “Danish Furnituremakers Control / Domus Danica quality label)
In an old furniture catalogue from 1970 the chair is also referred to as the “Napoleon” chair
